History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Simon grew up listening to his father's many stories. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
