History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Tailor, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Alexandre liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Everard has worked very hard to control his curse. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and many giants want him driven away
