Personality: Adelard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Adelard has worked very hard to control his curse. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: Shane is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shane grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
