Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Bertram's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Aldous was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Aldous's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
