History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Kyle was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Shane isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shane grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He found a children's book about a Human Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he desires power and/or immortality

He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a Tailor, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He wears a grey vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his grey boots flare out at the collars. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. At some point he was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aldous fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
