History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Manfred began to lead the lost caravan. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
