History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Ralf hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
