History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Ernest was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Ernest and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Gunter hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Jocelyn's homeland. Jocelyn decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
