History: Born in the east to a Laborer, Simon learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Gerard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gerard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
