Description: He wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a crossbow, but if one is not available he will default to his monstrous two handed axe. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His silver hair is knotted and matted. His ears are large.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Hugh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult

Description: A moderately attractive man, he tends to wear a tan poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Jocelyn abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and wants his loneliness to end

Description: He prefers to wear yellow clothing when he does not wear armor. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He wears his black hair up. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Gifted from a young age, John studied abroad. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has a white handlebar mustache and slicked back white hair. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
