History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting giants, the young Roger began to lead the lost caravan. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Roger never married again.
