Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Description: He wears a green shirt, with a brown mid length shorts with brown tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His white hair is cut short. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Hugh was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, and his gloved hand is found clutching a longbow. His hair is always cut to a buzz. This blue eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Description: This tall, slender man wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His ears are large.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Baker.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.
