History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Anselm was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to unite with his brother

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spy hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and retire the richest man in the north
