Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: The child of a Locksmith, who enjoyed hunting, Ralf was taken on many hunting expeditions. His childhood dream was to be a Locksmith, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and many illithids want him driven away
