Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: He is a Mason first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roland does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Roland was born with his mother's beautiful face. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He became a Mason soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mason responsibilities is difficult; and wants to raise his children well

Description: A middle-aged man, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior, and is pretty ugly. He has a very tight haircut. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and retire the richest man in the east

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
