Personality: Gerald is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerald was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. A true patriot, Adelard would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bounty Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Balimaar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
