History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his youth he was a Bowyer, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gunter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well
