Personality: Gerard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Gerard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kyle grew up listening to his father's many stories. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Roofer for hire.
