Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nicholas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Dean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new fisher responsibilities is difficult

History: Born to a Mason, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has worked as a Sailor like his mother before him.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
