Personality: Heward hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born to a Shipwright, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Adelard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Miller who has hired him part-time. A true patriot, Godfrey would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Godfrey was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Tailor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Anthony lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
