History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Adelard reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and doesn't want to be a bather and was forced into it by his family

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He prefers to wear pastel pants and tee shirts. He keeps his long white hair kept up in a rat tail. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. The war was a terrible time for him, and Heward does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Heward was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Odo will drive conversation. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
