Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Solomon grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and further expansion of business

History: Solomon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
