Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: He was born in a small desert village. When Jocelyn reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is a great chef.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Lewis's homeland. Lewis decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Adam was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Adam was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.
Motivation: He has a crush on the local Sellsword; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. His auburn hair is smooth and relatively long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: The child of a Miner, who enjoyed hunting, Roger was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Roger took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he's repulsed by the pc
