History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Alex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
