History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Hugh was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Hugh's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a brown coat. He has styled his brown hair well, parting it to the right. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roland does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Roland lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Soapmaker soon after.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This man stands a little under 5'9" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing green cape and mantle trimmed with soft blue waves gently in the breeze. His brown hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are hazel.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Richard was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Baker. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he's repulsed by the pc
