Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To protect his home; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and prefers to wear tan clothing when he does not wear armor. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Performer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'4" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his mace with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has moderate length white hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Rolf was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Rolf's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Rolf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.
