Description: A middle-aged man, he sports brown clothing, slightly heavier than average wear, and is pretty ugly. His brown hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.
History: Simon was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and to unite with his brother

Description: He wears a green vest and prefers black and white shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He is portly but not overly obese. He has done his best to style his chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. His brown eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 72. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Miner profession.
History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. When Hugh reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair is short and red. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and human compassion

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: Gerald lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerald was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
