History: Born to a Bather, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Anselm was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
