History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Anselm grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
