History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: He was born in a small plains village. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Aldous and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom
