History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Gerard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
