History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Norman alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Jocelyn was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Jocelyn's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Farmer.
