Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Aldous was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Detective, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently the stress of being a Map Maker has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gifted student he started as a Architect, but he got bored and became a Weaver. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
