History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and expand his business

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bowyer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
