History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rolf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Rolf was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Rolf's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He found a children's book about a Human Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

History: Hubert was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This man wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His silver hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Clerebold is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.
