His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in falchion use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants a kiss

When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Ernest's homeland. Ernest decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and many orcs want him driven away
