Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. After a long history of fighting, Heward and his spouse have recently divorced.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Server work with an outfit from a few towns over. Server work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
