History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barrister they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Servant, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roland grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Born in the east to a Fortune-teller, Roland learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Fortune-teller and found it very stressful. He struck the Fortune-teller job and began his own company from there.
