Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Interpreter and was forced into it by his family; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: He comes from a rich western family. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
