Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He struck the Knight job and began his own company from there.
