History: Anselm was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bather for the past few years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
