Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. A true patriot, Gerard would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Gerard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He worked as a nervous Spice Merchant and found it very stressful. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
