History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He worked as a nervous Fisher and found it very stressful. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is a great chef.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Healer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Stylist, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to unite with his sister

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He is wearing a long, blue cloak. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
