History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the west to a Sellsword, Roger learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Roger has worked very hard to control his curse. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Roger was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
