History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Clerebold hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents enrolled him in a Adept school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. After a long history of fighting, Clerebold and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and many gnolls want him driven away

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
