Upon awakening, Gerard discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gerard fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is greedy; and doesn't want to be a cartwright and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born in a small island village. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and wants to work out more often

Description: This malnourished man wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His golden hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His hazel eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to share knowledge with the world

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
