History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, marred by teas. His red hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He is a Cartwright first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has worked as a Cartwright like his mother before him.
