Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Aldous was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bookbinder. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.
