Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 6'6" and wears a grey coat over a yellow low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and to unite with his sister

Description: He is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak, and he perpetually has his trident ready. He sports a flattop hair cut. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lewis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. His brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Rolf was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and to clean up the streets
