Personality: Gerald is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerald was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
